Truly Love and Passion for food
The story begins 30 years ago when I met my husband Patrick, in South of France. He was already baker, and I completely fell in love of the bakery, thanks of his a passion and his determination.
This is why, few years later, we decided to open our own business together. It was a beautiful adventure, but I was not completely happy, something was missing...
When I was 20, I came to Ireland as an Au Pair, and I was dreaming about living here. So, 5 years ago, we decided to move to Galway, where we learned more about this country, and what the people would love to eat.
Then, 3 years ago, we took the path of our dream and we opened a bakery in Kenmare.
That was the best idea that we ever had.

Homemade and Organic
In Maison Gourmet, we attached a huge importance to the quality of our products, this is why we import our butter and flour from France.
Our main goal is to make our customers travelling in the French universe through our know-how.
Fresh and local products are our way to offer a better food experience to the people who are visiting our shop.
We have a wide range of artisan local products as Cheeses, Salmon and Hot Chocolate.
We also work with Java Republic, this means that our coffee beans and teas are organics.
